I Finally Stopped Planning and Hit Publish

A real letter. Not a marketing email.

For a while, The Jasmine Pivot was just an idea in my head.

I kept thinking about what I wanted it to be, what I wanted to write about, and whether anyone would actually care to read it. Like a lot of things in my life, I wanted to have everything figured out before I started.

But eventually, I realized something: if I waited until everything was perfect, I might never start.

So, I hit publish.

The Jasmine Pivot is about the season of life I’m actually in right now: building a career, finishing my education, exploring entrepreneurship, thinking differently about money, raising a family, and trying to create a life with more freedom.

And the truth is, I don’t have all of the answers.

I’m not writing from the finish line. I’m writing while I’m building.

There will probably be plans that change. Opportunities that don’t work out. Ideas that sound great today and make absolutely no sense six months from now.

That’s part of the pivot.

I wanted a space where I could talk honestly about what it looks like to keep moving forward when the path isn’t perfectly clear, especially for women who are balancing careers, education, family, finances, and dreams of building something of their own.

So every Sunday, The Pivot Letter will be a little behind the scenes look at what I’m learning, questioning, working toward, or changing my mind about.

Sometimes it may be about my career search.

Sometimes business.

Sometimes money.

Sometimes family, education, or what it actually takes to build a life that looks different from the one you originally imagined.

But it will always be real.
